Peachy the Magazine’s fabulous partnership with Neiman Marcus continued on October 27, 2016 with a special collaboration with Neiman Marcus Charlotte. The exclusive Splurge or Steal runway presentation and cocktail party, which filled up within 24 hours, included thoughtfully curated looks showcasing chic fall trends.

Like our Dallas event in September, the event honored my late grandmother’s zest for life and love for all things beautiful. The ever-so-stylish Peachy, who adored bold prints and statement jewelry, would have loved it!

As I shared with the chic Charlotte women attending the event, my beloved grandmother used to load all of her “girls” in her red Cadillac and take us to shop and have lunch at Neiman’s in Dallas. She loved nothing more than for us to come home and do a fashion show for her with our new clothes.

At the Splurge or Steal event, guests were treated to wine, champagne and light bites. We couldn’t have put this event together without Kristin Jackson, head of PR and Marketing at Neiman Marcus Charlotte. During the runway show, Kristin and I described and discussed each look presented by our gorgeous models. It was an informal and interactive affair, with guests able to ask questions, touch the fabrics and try on favorites after the show.

Based on the success of the fall event—including the enthusiastic, “sell-out” crowd—Peachy is already planning a spring fashion show with our fabulous friends at Neiman Marcus.
